Apply is used by 19 Post Secondary Institutions in British Columbia and over 30 000 students every year to submit applications and exchange student data for every high school student in BC. My role was to have it be visually updated to match the main site, while keeping development times low.

Goal
Update the look and feel of the Apply application in order for it to match the newer products in the suite.

Solution
I identified the 4 main styles of pages that would need to be updated and made more consistent.
I then identified the minimum number of components that would need to be built in order update the site. This included redesigning the main data collection methods (inputs, selects, etc), the styling of institution cards, user cards and questionnaires. I attempted to reuse as many components as possible we had already built for previous applications.
I documented the changes in a branding guide for this application
I highlighted the main points of interest that would need to be updated for the developers
I audited the site for accessibility and style purposes
